Nel Nex UG is a Ugandan HipHop artist based in the capital of Bunyoro Hoima oil city. He was born Didat Ahmed to a humble family in the suburbs of Lusaka Middle in the mid 1999.

He started singing at an early age of 9 in 2008 but officially started music recording during his final year in High school in 2018 with his first single dubbed Rap Ghost. Since then he has been recognised as one of the best rappers Hoima has ever got.

He is signed to UPTON MUSIC MANAGEMENT one of the best record labels in the region and #Say_mi_name_and_get_blessings is his slogan
