Ugandan content creator Simpo Gladys has shared an emotional message following the loss of her Facebook page, which boasted over 1.6 million followers.
 

In a heartfelt post on her newly created account, she reflected on the profound impact of her previous platform and the support she received from her online community.

“I lost my 1.6M Facebook account a week ago, and it's time for me to get up and start a fresh new journey,” she wrote, expressing her determination to move forward despite the setback.

Gladys took time to reflect on her creative journey, recalling how she initially created content for fun and found it to be peaceful and fulfilling.

She emphasized the positive influence of her work on many people and the invaluable support she received from her online family. “I remembered the people who genuinely love me and stood by me in thick and thin. I do not take that for granted,” she noted, acknowledging the emotional, financial, and mental backing she had received without any conditions.

In her message, Gladys conveyed a message of resilience, stating, “At this stage, I’m not afraid to lose anything anymore because I know I will gain it back three times more. And even if I don’t gain it back, it opens another bigger closed door.” She expressed her unwavering faith in God, affirming that He has been with her since the beginning of her journey.

Addressing those curious about the circumstances surrounding her account's loss, Gladys promised to share more details in an upcoming video. For now, she encouraged her followers to engage with her new page enthusiastically and help rebuild their community.

“I’m so happy to start over again with you all,” she concluded, hoping to rally support and resurrect her vibrant online presence.
