SOROTI - entertainment industry in Soroti City is witnessing the rise of a dynamic and charismatic host - MC Roggers.

Opio Roggers Martins popularly known as Ambassador is a young and ambitious hypes guy who has quickly become a household name in the region, known for his energy, confidence, and ability to keep crowds engaged.  

His journey into the limelight began in 2023 when he hosted a school talent show, marking the start of what would soon become a promising career. From birthday parties and promotional events to concerts and nightlife hosting, MC Roggers has built a reputation for delivering unforgettable performances, leaving a lasting impression on audiences.    

Like many in the entertainment industry, MC Roggers drew inspiration from some of Uganda’s most celebrated media personalities and event hosts. He credits Douglas Lwanga of NBS TV, MC Emmerson (Director of Galaxy Events), Mr. Pius Atum (Director of Nanfka Bar & Grill in Kireka), MC Kacheche, and MC Western** as key figures who influenced his style and approach to the craft.  

“I have always admired how these professionals command the stage, engage with their audiences, and turn every event into a thrilling experience,” he says. “Watching them over the years gave me the confidence to step up and make my mark.”  

MC Roggers' ability to adapt to different crowds and events has set him apart in the industry.
