Ugandan singer Acidic Vokoz has set December 20, 2026, for the second edition of his Ndi Musoga festival, with the show scheduled for Bugembe Stadium in Jinja.

The singer, whose real name is Kakaire Mutwailu, is taking the concert back to Busoga after staging the first edition at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala on August 30, 2024.

The debut concert, promoted by Abitex, attracted a large crowd and helped raise the profile of the Namutumba-born singer, who is known for songs including It’s Okay, Nkulinako Crush, Last Chance and Ndi Musoga.

Vokoz later won Best Breakthrough Artist at the East African Arts and Entertainment Awards and was named a Busoga tourism ambassador.

Organisers, Zhafar Music Agency, say this year’s event will combine music and cultural activities in a full-day programme at Bugembe, also known as Kyabazinga Stadium.

The date and venue were reported by Sqoop and The Kampala Report in late September, while promotional posts this week have continued to identify Vokoz as the headline act.

However, organisers have not yet released the full line-up, ticket prices or details of the planned side activities.

The decision to stage the festival in Jinja shifts the event closer to Busoga, the region that has become central to Vokoz’s musical identity.

Bugembe has hosted major kingdom and football events over the years, although many large commercial music concerts continue to be concentrated in Kampala.

For now, December 20 remains the confirmed date, with details on artistes, ticket outlets and gates expected to be announced as the event approaches.
