The court is expected to begin proceedings at 9:00am, but according to sources, people had already started arriving at the court premises as early as 6:00am, with some lining up at the main gate waiting to undergo security checks.
The early-morning turnout reflects the strong public interest surrounding the case, which has attracted attention from across Soroti City and beyond.
Security has also been beefed up around Soroti High Court, with personnel deployed to manage the expected crowds and maintain order as the proceedings get underway.
The case involves six accused persons, who have been on trial over the death of the Jozan Nursery and Primary School pupil. The accused persons have denied the allegations against them.
