A security guard attached to one of the private security companies in Soroti city has won a whopping 100 million from sports betting after staking on the Black Market Fixed Games.
Jackson Oumo, 25, narrates that he has been living in hell after losing a lot of money and earning almost nothing from his work.
“I earn almost nothing here, I decided to take a risk to find different sources of income and betting was at the top of the agenda,” he narrated.
“So one day, I got a website via Opera Mini, I went through it and got interested in their fixed games since they were a little bit cheaper compared to other sites. I wasn’t interested in anything less than those games. I saw 600k, so I borrowed the money the following day and paid, I received a call a few hours later asking if they could send games via email or WhatsApp or SMS, I told them WhatsApp, I received the ticket and staked 200k, it was odd 500!. The games were played late at night, I tried waiting for the games but since I was to work in the morning, I slept off. When I woke up in the morning, my heart was pumping, I logged into my Fortebet account and saw my balance showing 100m, Jesus Christ! Sounds unbelievable, right? Yeah, I never believed it too, I thought I was dreaming,”
“During day time, Fortebet called me and asked how I wanted to receive my funds, I went straight to their offices in Kampala as they said and received my money.”
He now says that he is going to invest this money into something big as well as make fixed games his priority because this is ‘where free money’ comes from.
