The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) has officially confirmed that it will release the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) 2023 results this week.
According to a statement from Jennifer Kasumba, the Principal Public Relations Officer of the Board, the results are scheduled to be made public within the coming days.
While a specific date for the release has not been mentioned in the government's communication, it has been hinted that the First Lady and Minister for Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Museveni, will oversee the release ceremony later this week.
Sources within UNEB have indicated that the results are expected to be unveiled tomorrow, Thursday, 7th March 2024, at State House Nakasero. These sources also reveal that the UNEB Executive Board Chairperson, Dan Odongo, has already briefed the First Lady on the matter earlier today.
Furthermore, it's worth noting that Friday, 8th March 2024, will be observed as a Public Holiday in celebration of International Women’s Day, followed by the weekend. This further supports the expectation that the results will indeed be disclosed on Thursday, 7th March 2024.
In summary, all signs point to the imminent release of the UACE 2023 results, with Thursday being the likely date for the much-anticipated announcement.
