Gen Elwelu and Emorimor Team Up for Cultural Revival as Ateker Reunion Festival Nears

SOROTI - In a significant show of unity and cultural solidarity, Lt. General Peter Elwelu recently held a closed-door meeting with His Royal Highness Paul Sande Emolot, the Emorimor of the Iteso Cultural Union (ICU). Sources close to the meeting have revealed that the agenda covered pressing issues around the preservation of Iteso values, the safeguarding of cultural heritage, and most prominently, the upcoming Ateker Reunion Festival.

 

According to reports, both leaders acknowledged the urgency of reinforcing Ateker identity in a rapidly modernizing world. Gen. Elwelu and Emorimor agreed that maintaining cultural roots is essential for the Ateker people to thrive while navigating contemporary challenges.
