Bukedea Woman Member of Parliament Anita Among yesterday rewarded best performers in 2019 Primary leaving examinations
The event took place at Bukedea Comprehensive Academy where 159 pupils who got first grade in Bukedea district were awarded with one year scholarship at BCA, Matresses and UGX 100,000 each.
While adresing parents, Hon Anita said that this reward was in line with fulfilling pledges made during 2016 elections where she promised to uplift Education in Bukedea district.
Resident Director Anita Foundation Ruth Birungi said that the foundation is investing in the children because they are the future of Bukedea and Uganda at large.
At the same event, Bukedea subcounty Chief Sanyi Leah warned all teachers who defile children citing that the law will deal with them.
