Kampala - The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has confirmed that the 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examination results will be officially released on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM.at State House Nakasero.
The announcement follows a formal briefing of the Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Museveni, conducted by the UNEB leadership team, including Chairperson Prof. Celestino Obua and Executive Director Mr. Dan Odongo. The briefing ensured that all procedural and logistical preparations for the results release have been finalized.
The official release event will be presided over by Hon. Janet Museveni and will be attended by senior officials from the education sector, policymakers, and other key stakeholders.
According to UNEB, a total of 142,009 candidates sat for the 2024 UACE examinations across 2,634 registered examination centers nationwide. This cohort comprised 61,968 female candidates and 80,041 male candidates.
The UACE qualification serves as a gateway to higher education, determining students’ eligibility for admission to universities and other tertiary institutions both locally and internationally. UNEB has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a transparent, credible, and rigorous examination process, ensuring that the results accurately reflect candidates’ performance.
Parents, students, and school administrators are encouraged to follow the official results release and access individual performance records through UNEB’s designated digital platforms.
