TESO – The Teso Bloggers Association (TBA) has strongly condemned a viral video circulating online in which a TikToker under the account Teso Gossip TV accuses the CEO of Teso Vibez Digital Limited Media, Sultan Ali, of fraud and exploitation.
According to the video, the CEO has allegedly conned multiple individuals and misused the platform for personal financial gain while neglecting artists. The claims have sparked heated discussions among social media users, with some demanding evidence while others criticize the attack on the media figure.
However, in a statement released on Tuesday by Nathan Eyagu, Publicity – Teso Bloggers Association, Teso Bloggers Association dismissed the accusations, describing them as defamatory and harmful to Sultan Ali’s reputation.
"As the Teso Bloggers Association, we strongly condemn such acts of online defamation. Tarnishing the reputation of individuals without credible evidence is unacceptable and goes against the principles of digital media ethics," the statement read.
TBA further stated that spreading false information online not only damages an individual’s image but also threatens the credibility of digital content creation in Teso. The association has demanded an immediate retraction of the statements and a public apology from Teso Gossip TV.
"Failure to do so will compel us to pursue legal action against the individual responsible for the video to protect the dignity of our member and uphold justice," the statement added.
As digital media continues to grow in Teso, TBA’s response underscores the need for responsible reporting and ethical content creation. According to experts, the incident raises broader concerns about misinformation and its potential impact on media professionals and the entertainment industry.
All eyes are now on Teso Gossip TV to see whether they will retract the allegations or face legal consequences.
