Juba, South Sudan – Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni arrived in Juba, South Sudan, today for a working visit at the invitation of South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardit. The situation in the country has deteriorated significantly following the house arrest of First Vice President Riek Machar, who stands accused by President Kiir’s government of inciting rebellion and being linked to recent violent clashes in the Upper Nile state.
