Ugandan musician Jingo Shafic famously known as Fik Gaza and several associates have been apprehended by Police on suspicion of involvement in a robbery.
The arrest was confirmed by Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango, who stated that the operation took place in the Katwe area of Kampala.
Four suspects are currently in custody, identified as Fik Gaza, Magoola Najibu, Mutuba David, and Zziwa Charles. During the operation, police recovered several exhibits, including pangas (machetes), military attire, and substances suspected to be narcotics.
The suspects are currently being held at Katwe police division and are expected to be formally charged in court soon. This is a developing story, and we will continue to update as more information becomes available.
