Amuria District — The political atmosphere in Eastern Uganda continues to heat up as the race for the Eastern Youth Member of Parliament seat intensifies. In a landmark meeting held yesterday at the former Saviour FM premises in Amuria Town Council, youth representatives from across Amuria District converged to unanimously endorse Omaria Emmanuel as their preferred candidate.

The gathering brought together youth from various political affiliations, united by a common vision to back one of their own in the upcoming elections. Omaria, a well-known youth figure in the region, received overwhelming support and blessings from the attendees who described him as a visionary and capable leader.

During the meeting, several youth leaders pledged their full support for Omaria's bid, expressing confidence in his ability to represent and address the concerns of the young people in the region.

Hon. Omaria, in his remarks, emphasized the critical role of young people in shaping Uganda’s political and socio-economic future.

"The time is now for the youth to rise and take charge of the political direction of our beloved country," Omaria stated. "I am deeply humbled and grateful for this endorsement from my fellow youth in Amuria."

In a gesture of commitment, Omaria offered the youth an office space in Amuria that will serve as a coordination hub for his campaign activities and youth-centered initiatives. He also pledged to establish similar youth offices across all sub-regions in Eastern Uganda to promote inclusivity and grassroots engagement.

The meeting concluded on a high note with youth leaders praising Omaria’s leadership, branding him as a formidable candidate whose ideas and dedication align with the aspirations of the younger generation.

As campaigns gear up, all eyes now turn to how Omaria Emmanuel will rally support across the broader Eastern region in what promises to be a closely watched race.
