Serere District – Daniel Olinga Eseuna, a respected native of Kidetok Agonyo and resident of Sambwa Village, has officially declared his parliamentary aspirations for Pingire County, setting the stage for a highly anticipated showdown with the NRM flagbearer, Hon. Philip Oucor.
Olinga, son of the late H.E. Jerome Epeduno Etegorit—a revered figure credited with bringing peace to the Teso region during challenging times—steps into the political arena with a rich legacy of leadership and public service.
He has positioned himself as a candidate of vision and integrity, with a strong commitment to transforming Pingire County through improved infrastructure, quality education, accessible healthcare, and uplifted household incomes.
“We must seize the winds of change and unite as one people with a shared voice and purpose to propel development and sustainability,” Olinga said during his address to supporters.
Olinga emphasized that his leadership will usher in a new era of growth and stability. With a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the community, he believes he is well-prepared to represent the people of Pingire in the 12th Parliament.
"My dream is to be the unwavering voice for Pingire County, to ensure that our concerns are addressed and that we receive the attention and resources we rightfully deserve," he stated.
As he intensifies his campaign, Olinga is calling on stakeholders, community leaders, and residents to rally behind his candidacy in a collective push for a better future.
His entry into the race has set off political tremors in the region, as many anticipate a tight contest with the current NRM flagbearer, Hon. Philip Oucor. However, Olinga remains confident in his grassroots support and believes a decisive victory is within reach.
“Together, we can bring about the transformative change Pingire deserves. Let us join hands and make our county a model of development and prosperity,” Olinga concluded.
With campaigns heating up, all eyes are now on Pingire County as it becomes a focal point of political activity in Serere District.
