The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Nathan Nandala Mafabi has today spent his second day of the official presidential campaigns in the islands which make up Buvuma district in Lake Victoria.

Mafabi alongside the FDC party president Patrick Amuriat Oboi and MP Flagbearers boarded the MV Palm to Buvuma and held his first mini rally of the day immediately after the ferry docked at Kirongo village.

Speaking to the residents who welcomed Mafabi’s team with jubilations while dancing to ‘Kadodi tunes’, Mafabi thanked the people for the warm welcome they accorded him.

“I want to thank you people of Buvuma for the love and welcome you have shown me and my team. We are here to tell you that it’s time to better our economy and have money in our pockets,” Mafabi said.

Mafabi is slated to have a mega rally later this afternoon at Buvuma district grounds.
