Ugandan musician King Saha has revealed the health issue that led to his hospitalization and shared what medical professionals advised during his recovery. The artist recently spoke out from his hospital bed, confirming that he had been battling malaria coupled with additional infections.
Saha said he was admitted at Nakasero Hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with malaria and related complications. He confirmed that he was getting better and expressed gratitude to supporters who wished him a speedy recovery.
He explained that the illness struck suddenly, catching him off guard while he was reportedly on tour. The singer had been unwell for a few days before seeking medical attention, he said.
Medical personnel reportedly advised him to take proper rest and avoid further strain from performances until fully recovered. Earlier in his career, Saha’s concert was postponed after doctors recommended downtime following a similar health scare.
