Eleven people have this morning been discharged from Soroti Regional Referral Hospital after recovering from the deadly Coronavirus
The patients were all contacts of Moses Elungat a Bukedea business man who tested positive after he visited south Sudan in early May.
According to Dr Micheal Mwanga Musani the director Soroti regional referral hospital, the recovered patients were discharged after they all underwent successful treatment and tested negative twice for COVID-19.
The discharge is being overseen by Hon. Joyce Moriku Kaducu the state minister for Primary health care.
