Okolong Moses famously known as DJ Kalz recently made some remarks about Teso while he was hosted on Kyoga Veritas popular entertainment program dubbed 'KVR Weekend Starter".
During the show, Kalz advised Teso producers to stop copying beats and focus on creating their own, he also urged for the need for improvement in video production if Teso music is to cross borders.
His comments attracted mixed reactions from different stakeholders of the Teso music industry. Some supported him while the majority expressed their disappointment through their social media handles.
Kalz has however made a public apology on his Facebook page in order to ceasefire.
"I am officially here to apologize to whoever my statements disturbed and I am kindly saying ' I am Sorry ' and need your forgiveness." Part of his post read
Verbatim:
Hello, Teso Artists & Entertainment Fraternity at large.
Given my remarks on KVR, I have closely been following on different social media platforms and thus received mixed reactions, it has come to my attention that it did not go well with most if not all personalities hence creating a cold war between them & me which ain't proper if we are to push Teso Music ahead.
So in line with the above, I am officially here to apologize to whoever my statements disturbed and I am kindly saying ' I am Sorry ' and need your forgiveness.
Thank you.
