The 9th edition of the Alur Cultural Festival is confirmed to take place on April 20th, 2025 (Easter Sunday) at the iconic Millenium Park in Lugogo, organizers announced yesterday.
The announcement was made during a press briefing held at Lugogo on March 2nd, where the organizing committee assured attendees of a seamless and vibrant cultural experience.
"We have all the necessary arrangements in place to ensure a smooth and enjoyable festival for all attendees," stated Omwon Francis Denis, CEO of the Alur Cultural Festival (ACF).
"We look forward to celebrating with you on Easter Sunday." Denis also emphasized the commitment to preserving Alur culture through the festival.
"We are working closely with the Alur Kingdom to preserve Alur culture, music, and dance for future generations," he said.
"We have been partnering with the Alur Kingdom for past episodes and will continue working together in the future episodes."
Festival-goers can expect a rich tapestry of performances from various artists, captivating exhibitions of traditional Alur dances, and a delectable showcase of traditional Alur cuisine. The festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of Alur heritage and a memorable experience for all.
