Soroti City – In response to recent rumors circulating online and within the community, Pastor Emanu Georwell of Miraculous Synagogue Church has publicly addressed allegations linking him to criminal activity and alleged police detention. He categorically denied the claims, labeling them as baseless and malicious attempts to damage his reputation and the integrity of his church.
Speaking from the church premises in Tedwills, Nakatunya, Pastor Emanu condemned the allegations as a coordinated smear campaign.
“Some individuals are clearly driven by jealousy and a desire to destroy what we are building through faith and unity,” he stated. “I strongly condemn these acts and send a warning to those who are spreading such harmful lies.”
The allegations are believed to have originated from the resurfacing of an old, previously discredited article that recently went viral, causing confusion among the faithful and the wider community.
Despite the personal and institutional damage caused, Pastor Emanu chose not to retaliate, instead offering a message of forgiveness and collective healing.
“To all those who have stood by me, I thank you deeply. Let love be our language and unity our strength,” he added, expressing appreciation to the church’s followers for their support during what he described as a “storm of misinformation.”
Pastor Emanu concluded his remarks by reaffirming the church’s open-door policy, inviting all those in search of spiritual nourishment, hope, and healing to fellowship with them.
“Miraculous Synagogue Church remains a place of love, transformation, and faith. Everyone is welcome.”
The church, known for its vibrant spiritual community, continues to host weekly services and outreach programs aimed at empowering individuals and promoting peace across Teso.
