Wednesday’s Premier League clash between Man City and Arsenal has been postponed after it emerged that Gunners personnel had come in to contact Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis who recently contracted COVID-19.
Arsenal FC management through their official website state that all the players who got in contact with Evangelos have been put in 14 day qurantine.
Their clash against Manchester City has therefore been cancelled since most of the players will not be available.
"The players will remain at their homes until the 14-day period expires. Four Arsenal staff - who were sitting close to Mr Marinakis during the match - will also remain at home until the 14 days are complete." A statement on Arsenal.com reads
