It was a sad afternoon for leading opposition party Forum for Democratic change (FDC) after one of the vehicle that was on Patrick Amuriat Oboi's campaign trail was involved in a nasty accident in Nebbi.
The vehicle that was carrying the Public Adress system overturned thus claiming lives of two party members and leaving several injured.
This happened few minutes after Amuriat had finished addresing a rally at Parambo Town Council
The deceased were identified as Ms. Zulaika Yasin, 25, a resident of Nebbi Municipality, and Ms. Hellen Picho, an incumbent Nebbi Municipality councilor that was aspiring to retain the same seat.
Amuriat was left in shock hence suspending his camapign to mourn with the families of the deceased.
