Popular Nigerian actor and comedian John Ikechukwu Okafor famously known as Mr Ibu will be buried tomorrow, Friday June 28th three months after his death.
A night of tribute was held on Wednesday in Enugu state, where his wife shared the struggles they faced during his treatment. She spoke openly about the emotional toll it took, and the heartbreak of seeking further care abroad that ultimately wasn’t available. Many hospitals abroad declined the request of treating him.
Today Thursday, June 27th, there will be a Christian service at the actor's home in Eziokwe Amuri, Nkanu West, Nigeria.
The actor will then be laid Friday, June 28th at his home in his hometown Amuri, in the Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
