Following a recent performance in Bukedea District, where upcoming singer OBJ was seen on stage wearing worn-out sandals and old, rugged clothes, Uganda's iconic artist Bebe Cool publicly advised him to avoid performing in such attire.

The incident, captured in a photo by Teso Vibez, quickly went viral online, sparking a wave of comments and discussions.

Moved by the situation, George William Okoit, the CEO of Teso Textiles, penned an emotional letter to OBJ. Okoit expressed his concern for the young artist in the letter, who faced the challenging situation in front of thousands of fans at the event.

To support OBJ, Okoit offered him a chance to record three of his best songs at Sound City Studios, one of the top audio production studios in the sub-region, owned by the renowned Louis Management music label.

"I trust this letter finds you well, though I know that recent events may have caused you distress. I was deeply saddened to watch the unfortunate incident on stage with Bebe Cool. Your passion for music and your undeniable talent should be the focus of every performance, not the clothes you wear, especially when circumstances beyond your control play a role," Okoit's letter read in part.

Okoit continued, "As someone who believes in the transformative power of the arts, I want you to know that your worth as an artist is not defined by material things but by your heart, your creativity, and your dedication to your craft. It is clear to everyone who hears your music that you possess these qualities in abundance. The challenges you face now do not reflect your future, and they certainly do not diminish your potential."

Demonstrating his commitment to nurturing local talent, the CEO of Teso Textiles pledged to sponsor the full production of three of OBJ's best songs at Sound City Studios. Okoit believes that this opportunity will allow OBJ to fully showcase his musical abilities without the burden of financial constraints.

"Music has the power to change lives, and I am confident that with this support, you will continue to inspire many with your unique voice and message. Please consider this offer as a gesture of my belief in your potential and my desire to see you succeed," Okoit wrote.

"I look forward to hearing from you and your continued growth as an artist. Together, we can turn this challenging moment into a stepping stone toward even greater achievements."
