Orungo County – Teddy Anyuk, a parliamentary hopeful for Orungo County, has urged her parish coordinators to focus on fostering peace and unity rather than engaging in political conflicts as the 2026 general elections draw closer.
Speaking at a well-attended gathering of over 2,000 people at Starlight Secondary School, Anyuk emphasized the importance of promoting tranquility and honest political engagement. The large turnout at the event is seen as a strong endorsement of her leadership and political message.
"I urge all my coordinators to remain focused on truthfully communicating our vision to the people. Let us not fall into the trap of political fights and false propaganda," Anyuk stated. "Our mission is to build, not divide."
She encouraged her team and supporters to counter misinformation from opponents with transparency and integrity, insisting that the development of Orungo County hinges on informed decision-making by the electorate.
Anyuk stressed that trust in leadership should be earned through action and accountability, not empty promises. “Let leaders prove themselves before seeking the public’s trust,” she said.
Outlining her development agenda for Orungo County, Anyuk highlighted key focus areas including improved road infrastructure, enhanced education systems, better healthcare services, and the promotion of economic opportunities through the establishment of skilling centers and agricultural development initiatives.
Her message was warmly received by the residents, many of whom expressed appreciation for her vision and dedication. Her approach has significantly boosted her support base, positioning her as a formidable candidate in the upcoming race.
In addition to her policy agenda, Anyuk has already made notable contributions to the community, including the donation of chairs to churches, plates to burial groups, and a truck to assist in transporting community members during burials and other communal ceremonies.
