Louis Management has officially announced the termination of the much-anticipated song "Edokiyo" by artists Canis Odd and Rody Gavana, citing a significant dispute over artist credit and alleged disrespect from affiliates of Wakanda Entertainment.

The decision, confirmed in a letter issued by the record label this morning, halts a release that was scheduled for the past weekend but failed to materialize. According to Louis Management, the postponement and subsequent termination stem from a "barrage of insults" directed at songwriter Naffz Cee by "Wakanda fanatics" across media platforms.

"It’s important to clarify that the project ‘Edokiyo’ originated from Louis Management with full ownership of Canis Odd, written by Naffz Cee," a part of the letter read, emphasizing the original creative authorship.

Louis Management expressed deep concern and disappointment regarding the actions of Wakanda Entertainment affiliates, specifically their "failure to respect the original songwriter, Naffz Cee," and their "continued abusive insults towards their artist in the media."

The label further criticized Wakanda Entertainment for allegedly "hijacking" the song from Canis Odd and not respecting its rightful owner.

A key point of contention highlighted by the label was the promotion of the track. "Promoting the project as Rody Gavana ft Canis instead of rightful credit Canis Odd ft Rody Gavana," the statement clarified, pointing to a dispute over primary artist billing.

Sources close to Louis Management revealed that the song was originally conceived by Naffz Cee, who then gifted the project to Canis Odd after he expressed interest. Canis Odd later introduced the song to Rody Gavana, and they jointly adjusted some lyrics to align with their collaborative vision.

This termination follows a public statement made by Naffz Cee himself just days prior. On his social media platforms, Naffz Cee indicated his discomfort with the surrounding controversy. "My pen game got people thinking and asking what I can do and what I can not do, I don't like the insults that are coming with it thou, but if y'all can't accept and be comfortable with the fact that I wrote it, then kindly don't release the song until y'all understand and make peace with that, let's do it respectfully, and don't belittle akolodong, you guys don't know what I can or can't do!" Naffz Cee posted.

As of the time of reporting, Wakanda Entertainment has yet to issue a statement regarding the allegations made by Louis Management and Naffz Cee.
