The Iboyan Foundation has officially launched the 60 day countdown to the much anticipated Francis Angiro's Aminat Live Concert, slated for December 6th at Hyde Park. The announcement was made during a press conference held at the venue, where organizers outlined the unique experiences fans should expect from the event.
Francis Angiro, one of Teso’s most celebrated artists, is widely known for his inspiring and educative music that promotes unity, culture, and moral values. The upcoming concert marks his first ever major show, a milestone that organizers and fans alike are eagerly awaiting.
According to Mc Emmason, one of the key organizers, the event will be a first of its kind in the region. “This being Francis Angiro’s maiden concert, we are preparing something unforgettable. Since it will be in December, we’re planning a grand celebration with fireworks, a red carpet experience, and a unique VIP section,” he said. He further revealed that over 30 VIP tables will be available to ensure a high quality experience, with strong security measures in place for both VIP and ordinary attendees.
Emmason also highlighted the family-friendly nature of the event, noting that activities will begin early in the day. “We’re starting with a children’s segment that includes face painting and games. At around 6:00 p.m., we’ll release the children so adults can take over for the main concert,” he added. More than 60 artists are expected to escort Francis Angiro, making it one of the largest entertainment lineups ever hosted at Hyde Park.
Peter Koluo, popularly known as Virgin P, emphasized the importance of honoring Angiro’s contribution to music and community growth. “Francis Angiro’s songs have inspired people from all walks of life. The best way to celebrate him is to attend this show with your family and friends,” he said.
Speaking at the press conference, Francis Angiro expressed gratitude to his supporters and excitement about his upcoming concert. “I have composed many songs that speak to families and couples, and this concert will show how deeply people connect with my music. It will also highlight the incredible talent we have in Teso,” he remarked.
Angiro extended a special invitation to political leaders across all affiliations to attend the show, stressing that music transcends politics. “As artists, we are neutral and sing for everyone. I welcome all leaders to come and celebrate art, unity, and culture with us,” he said.
With just two months left, preparations are in full swing, and anticipation continues to build. The Iboyan Foundation promises an evening filled with music, culture, and fireworks ,a true celebration of Teso’s musical excellence.
