Residents of Soroti City and the wider Teso sub-region have welcomed the opening of a new Roykim Foam Company depot, saying it will improve access to quality mattresses and bedding products while reducing the costs and inconveniences associated with sourcing such items from distant towns.

The new depot, located along Soroti Main Street opposite Eric Phones, was officially opened this week as part of the company's expansion strategy aimed at bringing premium sleep solutions closer to customers in eastern Uganda.

Many residents expressed optimism that the outlet will provide a wider variety of bedding products to meet the needs of households, institutions, and businesses within the region.

Speaking during the launch, Roykim Foam's Eastern Region Sales and Marketing Manager, Badru Musoke, said the company is committed to making high-quality mattresses accessible to more Ugandans. He noted that the Soroti depot will cater to both retail and bulk buyers, offering flexible payment options, including deposits and delivery services.

Musoke explained that customers will have access to a range of products, including spring family mattresses, Bonnell spring variants, pocket spring mattresses, orthopedic designs, and high-density foam options tailored to different comfort and budget requirements.

Residents also welcomed the company's promise of reliable delivery services, which will enable customers across the Teso sub-region to access products without travelling long distances.

Sales Manager Suzan Namyalo said the company is excited to serve the people of Teso and emphasized that all Roykim Foam products are manufactured locally in Uganda, supporting the Buy Uganda, Build Uganda initiative.

Corporate and Premium Brand Executive Muhammad Masanso described the Soroti expansion as a strategic move aimed at strengthening the company's presence in regional markets while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

In addition to mattresses, the depot will stock baby beds and maternity pillows, broadening its offerings to cater to families and individuals with diverse needs.

With the new outlet now operational, residents say they are hopeful the increased availability of quality sleep products will enhance comfort in homes and contribute to improved well-being across the region.
