One person has been confirmed dead and several injured after taxi overturned in Aloet, Bukedea district this morning.
The taxi registration number UBH 968S heading from Mbale to Soroti over turned several times this morning after its rear tire burst as it was over taking another at Suula village, Aloet.
Eye witness at the scene told this website the taxi was over speeding before the fatal incident occured.
The deceased person only identified as Kadodi was the conductor of the taxi. The injured victims were rushed to Mbale Regional Referral Hospital and BukedeaHealth center (IV).
