The vice president H.E Jessica Alupo yesterday led the fundraising drive of the Usuk youth Skills center located at St. Ann Catholic Catholic Parish, Usuk county in Katakwi district.
A total of UGX 94 million was realized as the Social Centre Usuk needs about UGX 1.3 billion for it to start working fully.
VP Alupo handed over President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s donation of UGX 30m towards the renovation of the social center and her own contribution of UGX 10 Million while other leaders like Thomas Tayebwa the Deputy Speaker of Parliament UGX 15M, Okiror Bosco 6 million, Peter Abaine UGX 2M, Minister Hellen Adoa UGX 2M, and MP Patrick Isiagi UGX 2M and others contributed 1M ugx respectively.
