COVID-19: Uganda confirms four new cases

The ministry of Health has today confirmed four new cases of COVID-19 in Uganda.

 

Out of the 300 samples tested on Sunday, four tested positive which raises the total number of Uganda's confirmed cases to 52.

 

All four confirmed cases are Ugandans who returned from Dubai, United Arab Emirates on 22 March 2020 and were under quarantine at the time of test.

 

Ministry of Health has also discharged 377 individuals from Institutional quarantine.

 

All the 48 confirmed cases are in stable condition at Mulago National Specialized hospital, Entebbe Grade B Hospital, Adjumani and Hoima Hopitals. Uganda has also not yet reported any COVID-19 related death.
