Sensational singer John Kasadha alias John Blaq has finally parted ways with his former Label, Black Magic Records.
Teso Vibez has learnt that the 'Do dat' hit maker got a misunderstandng with management as a result of poor accountability of his royalties.
In 2018, John Blaq came into a gentle man's understanding with his cousins Norman and Kenneth who then invested in his music.
These two started a Record Label dubbed Black Magic Records and managed John Blaq's music
Kenneth and Norman opened up Social media handles for their artist but instead kept all the login details.
They continued working together whereby John Blaq released hit songs like Do dat, Obubadi, Girl Friend, Tukwatagane, Nekwatako and several others that earned him various accolades. He also had a succesful concert at Freedom city last year.
Trouble started when John Blaq accused management of mismanaging his royalties from different Online streams and music stores.
Black Magic Records has therefore changed John Blaq's YouTube channel to 'Black Magic Records'. The profile picture of his facebook page has also been updated with Black Magic Records Logo
This action has however angered self-proclaimed 'African Bwoy'. He has issued a two days ultimatum for Keneth and Norman (Former managers) to handover his social media accounts or else face the consequences.
This letter was also copied to Uganda Police Cyber-crimes division
John Blaq also told our Teso Vibez Reporter that he has not yet opened any new social media account as reported by some bloggers
We shall keep you posted on any development.
