Parliament has today fulfilled its promise to save Triplets Ghetto Kids, a popular dance group from being evicted due to 100m house debt.
In December 2019, Kadaga asked member of parliament to contribute 250,000 each to save the Ghetto kids who were on the verge of losing their house in Makindye.
Speaker Kadaga this afternoon handed over a cheque of UGX 114,250,000 contributed by the Members of parliament to this dance group.
According to the Clerk to Parliament Jane Kibirige the MPs raised a total of Shs114,250,000, of which Shs100 million will go towards clearing the landlord (Manisul Ssekatawa), while Shs14,250,000 is meant for the ghetto Kids welfare.
