Adong Mercy,19, was yesterday announced the winner of first Miss Teen Globe Uganda beauty contest that took place at Emerald Hotel Kampala.
Mercy outshined four other girls to be crowned Miss Teen Globe Uganda. She also won Miss Beach beauty title which was determined by Social media votes.
While speaking to our reporter, Mercy attributed her win to all people who voted for her massively on different social media plattforms.
"I want to thank my dear friends for standing with me during this hotly contested challenge," She said
She will now represent Uganda in Miss Teen Globe International contest that will take place in South Africa this year.
