City tycoon, Hamis Kiggundu through his Ham Foundation has donated shs 100 million (cash) to Uganda's COVID-19 taskforce that is aimed at distributing food relief to vulnerable Ugandans who are affected by the lockdown.
Hamis handed over the cash this morning to Taskforce Chairman Hon. Ruhakana Rugunda who flagged off distribution of food relief in Kampala.
President Museveni recently directed politicians and other people who wanted to donate food to the people to channel it through the taskforce.
Uganda currently has 48 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic.
