Six people have been confirmed dead after drowning in Lake Nyaguo, Pallisa district.
These were travelling back from Opot,Ngora to Agule,Pallisa where they had gone for a burial.
Mr. Otaget Robert, a close relative to one of the victims told our reporter that a heavy storm led to the capsizing of the boat.
He adds that, nine people were travelling in the same boat and only two men and one lady survived.
The deceased include: Lucy Apio, Mary Adongo, Dina Ibuge, Samali Atim, Janet Mudondo and a child.
By yesterday, the fishermen and locals managed to recover only two bodies.
