16 Senior Six students of Top Care SS Iganga, a private secondary school in Iganga municipality, have been barred from sitting for their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education [UACE] examinations over uncleared fees balances
The sudents were left in tears and sought for intervention from Iganga Police and Resident district commisioner.
Iganga district police commander David Ndawula, the RDC Nalongo Kwesiga, & LC5 chairperson Patrick Kayemba escorted the students but they were still denied access to examination rooms.
The school adminstrator, Wilson Mpongo told the media that they had earlier on warned the students on completing their school fees balances.
"We warned them and told them during briefing time to come with their parents to write commitment letters and discuss payment plan" said Mpongo
