A bus registration number UAL 202R belonging to Kakise Bus company that was en-route to Kampala was involved in an accident in the wee hours of the night (around 4: 00 am)
According to one of passengers, the bus knocked a sugarcane truck parked around the GM sugar factory in Njeru municipality
The bus driver was critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital. Some passengers also got minor injuries and no death was reported.
