A 19-year-old S.2 Student of Soroti Secondary School was on 30th, October on a Sunday morning recovered by his relative at Soroti Regional Referral Hospital Mortuary after he was allegedly beaten by unknown goons while returning from the Purple Party at Cloud Nine Soroti.
Gabriel Epuru was last seen in the evening hours of Saturday in Club Cloud 9 before his body was discovered on Sunday morning 31st October 2022 near Soroti Prisons. He was later taken to Soroti hospital without any knowledge of his family members where the hospital authorities alerted the searching relatives that there was an unidentified body of a young man in the mortuary.
The source revealed that the family was informed of the death on Sunday 31st, October 2022.
Epuru has been a resident of Soroti City East in Orwadai ward.
The late will be laid to rest tomorrow at their ancestral home in Awoja parish, Gweri county in Soroti district.
