Uganda seems to be into a twist of events over DNA results that have since left many men in shock and agony following an upsurge in stories surrounding DNA testing, with more men discovering that they have been deceived about their children’s paternity.
These revelations have sparked widespread conversations and discussions on the importance of DNA testing.
The recent report is of a renowned events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, popularly known as Abitex who has expressed his dissatisfaction after DNA tests ruled out that eight out of the nine children were not his.
In an interview on Spark TV last night, Abitex disclosed that multiple women have approached him, claiming that he fathered their children.
However, he made it a priority to request DNA testing immediately after each child’s birth. Out of the nine children that he subjected to DNA testing, only one has been confirmed as his biological child.
According to him, it is crucial for men to undergo DNA testing when their children are young. He believes that early testing can save individuals from experiencing significant emotional distress and turmoil.
Earlier this week, a total of 32 men submitted formal requests to the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) urging the cancellation of their children’s passports following DNA tests that revealed they are not the biological fathers.
