Many kept ignoring him not mindful about his tomorrow, it was not untill the year 2006 after he dropped his first song titled "so lonely" with his soothing voice, a song that made many fall in love, broken hearts mourn and the first time lovers make unfulfilled promises to the daughters of Adam and Eve.

Later in the year, 2008, the song became a hit this making him the best eastern artiste of the year after winning the Victoria awards.

Popularly known to many today as the country boy, Simon Jackson is an etesot who hails from kuju sub county in Amuria district although many thought that he was a white following his first English songs like so lonely, wedding day and several others that he released.

The radio personality,instrumentalist,singer,song writer and producer while having an interview with this website said that his form of music upgraded from 2006-2015 when he was a CD artiste and now is a live performing artiste.

His career in music production started in 2009 after starting up Canaan studio that saw through several iconic teso artistes hit the air waves.

Later in 2015 after becoming perfect with guitar, he dropped "Iwori", a single that sold him off further and is still topping charts in the region.

Being so passionate in country music after getting inspired by top country music singers like Dolly Parton Kenny Rogers and others, he secured a deal with TBS radio in Soroti City in 2017-2022 hosting a weekend evening show of country music that brought in traffic jam of listeners.

Today, he has upgraded his studios with equipment worth millions of money and is offering lessons to youth in music production,piano and guitar with the vision of grooming new talent.

" Am into voice overs and I have done it for different organisations like white star magic,miss tourism teso,tbs radio and others,our studio is beyond singing, as we also do sports messages and jingles", he explained.

According to him, one if the artistes focused on country music is Father Deo meanwhile the rest focus on different kind of music as trends keep changing with time.

The country boy is yet to hold a concert in the future between October and December where he is to perform a number of songs as he has more than 100 songs.
