Soroti - Disk jokers in Soroti city have cried out over increased low payment by bar,club owners and event organisers in the city.
According to DJ Chadrick the general speaker of Soroti DJ's association, they are kindly calling out for help and need an end to the little payment of DJ's.
"I got a serious call straight from Soroti from a very good and branded Dj being paid 5,000 ugx,
that's breaking down the association and it's rules,I personally feel so touched and if that dj can stay home I can be sending him that 5,000 ugx daily cause in a day, one needs to download music and data costs that amount paid daily for a GB, what are you doing as DJ if you were the one", he added.
Dj Ivande of the Wakanda Ent during an interview with this website also confirmed that some of his colleagues were receiving low pay.
"The bar owners are just using djs for there own benefits",Dj IK's said.
