Teso's Gospel artist Betty Osire alias Malaika has been ordained as a lay reader.
Malaika is among the 118 lay readers, 7 priests, and 2 deacons who were ordained under the reformed Anglican church upper Nile diocese.
The church leaders were ordained yesterday at Kumi Urban Reformed Anglican church aimed at helping spread the gospel of Christ.
Malaika is well known for her hit song 'Okunya Ogege Jo'
