Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) interim president Cinderella Sanyu aka Cindy has announced that the association is in preparations to hold elections that will see new leaders come in.
“We shall have elections for UMA, either we get new leaders or the old one stay,” – Cindy said
She also urged musicians to register with the association so that they can vote.
Cindy who had been serving as vice president of the union took over from Wycliffe Tugume alias Ykee Benda as president following his resignation in February 2021.
“You have to be a musician and a member of UMA to vote. Come and register when it’s still early.” Cindy added
