The Installation of Solar systems in Ngariam County is currently underway. The works according to the organizing team are at 90%.
The expected day for the launch of the project is Thursday according to Kazi Ni Kazi Foundation leader who also doubles as Private Secretary in the office of the President in charge of Political Mobilization and Affairs Dan Mulalu.
The schools that have been installed with solar power include; Olela P/S, Alogook P/S, Abela P/S, Abwanget P/S, Olupe P/S, Akoboi P/S, Palam P/S, Okwamomwar P/S, Alengo P/S and Apeuroaodot P/S.
The next batch of schools will be connected with solar power next month as the program continues.
The project's major aim is to help uplift the dwindling standards of education in the county.
Also among the projects being implemented is the repair of boreholes in across the county.
Boreholes in Oliangoi Villages A and B and Adipala boreholes have been repaired.
