In response to the disturbing incident involving singer Jozelha Da Arrowgal being attacked by her own paid bodyguards during a performance in Ngora District on January 27th, fellow artist Josh Rush has broken his silence, shedding light on the concerning security situation at the event.
Josh Rash, known for his hit song "Opotu," shared his perspective on the incident in an interview with this website explained that he left the venue after his performance due to security concerns.
He added that he performed only a few songs before departing and clarified that he was not present at the time of the assault, thus lacking detailed knowledge of the event.
In a recent Facebook post, Jozelha Da Arrowgal, recognized for her song "Akandala," recounted the harrowing experience of being assaulted and locked in a waiting room by her supposed protectors after the event. She described it as the most terrifying and traumatizing ordeal of her life, expressing gratitude for surviving despite enduring physical and mental injuries.
Jozelha also revealed that law enforcement is now involved, with the perpetrators reportedly apprehended, marking a significant step towards justice in the aftermath of this disturbing incident.
