SOROTI - Centenary Bank's Soroti branch celebrated Customer Week in a colorful ceremony at Hyde Park in Soroti city, attended by customers from all walks of life on Friday's evening.

 

Charles Osilo, the branch manager, expressed his gratitude to customers, stating that the celebration aims to dedicate time to interact with clients, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement. The ultimate goal is to provide seamless and excellent services.

 

Osilo announced the launch of Cente WhatsApp, a new service that enables customers and non-customers to access banking services using their smartphones. By connecting their phone number to the bank's WhatsApp number (0744200555), users can pay bills, buy data, transfer money, and more.

 

As the bank winds up Customer Week, Osilo reiterated that the celebration is all about appreciating customers for their loyalty and support. The bank is committed to continuously improving its services to meet the evolving needs of its customers.

 

Cecilia Nanyonjo Catherine, a representative from the central team of the bank's human resource department, expressed her gratitude to customers on behalf of the managing director. She appreciated their support and loyalty to the bank, reaffirming the bank's commitment to excellent service delivery.

 

Karugaba Collins, the regional CID of police, expressed appreciation for the bank's efforts in uplifting the lives of people in the region. She assured that the police are working closely with the bank to ensure the safety of customers and staff.

 

The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Soroti District,Salim Komakech, urged the bank to consider offering agriculture credit facilities, which the government has subsidized. He emphasized that this initiative would greatly benefit the community.

 

Komakech stressed the importance of enhancing security measures, such as installing cameras, to prevent theft and ensure smooth service delivery. He encouraged the bank to prioritize security to protect its customers and staff.
