His Highness Paul Sande Etomeileng Emolot, The reigning Emorimor Papa Iteso is expected to make a jolt in his cabinet, while also announcing a budget worth Ugx. 19bn.
This is expected at the sitting of Council, the institution's supreme legislative body on Saturday 29/06/2024. Papa Emorimor is also expected to make an announcement of a substantive Prime Minister, a role a one Ocole Andrew has been filling in acting capacity following the resignation of the late Papa. The Emorimor is also widely expected make alterations along the full rank and file of his cabinet, while also shaking the stock of his advisors, Ere Iteso Construction Committee, The Secretariat and other organs.
While it is viewed as a mini reshuffle, the ripple effects may be far-reaching. The new substantive Prime Minister's task shall be to present a Ugx. 19bn for approval by the Council.
