Renowned comedian Apedeupal was among the victims of a serious accident involving a Kakise bus registration number UAZ 942R and a Tata Lorry of registration number UAW 615K that occurred last night at Odelo Market Kumi, along Soroti-Mbale Highway, around 10 PM.
The incident left several passengers injured who were quickly rushed to Kumi Health Centre (IV).
In an interview with our reporter, Apedeupal recounted the distressing moments leading up to the accident. "I was en route to Kampala to do shopping for business before the incident happened," he shared.
Apedeupal has been admitted to Joint Clinic Soroti, where he is receiving treatment. Fans and fellow entertainers have taken to social media to wish him a speedy recovery, expressing their concern and support during this difficult time.
ASP Edison Obukulem the East Kyoga Regional police Acting Spokesperson in a statement has confirmed the incident but noted that, no fatalities have been reported.
